We need to be able to input a type of new referral (example: oxygen, enteral, or ventilator) and tie it to a Hospital (and the Social Worker that sent it), and which Sales Rep the new referral was awarded to. We need to be able to pull monthly reports and have colorful charts that compare productivity with the Sales Reps and compare month to month, quarter by quarter and year by year of those referrals. The summary of orders productivity (currently in the CRM) includes all reoccurring orders but does not specify "how many oxygen referrals Jim received from which hospitals" (and the Social worker who sent them if possible). Even if we could run a report with at least what hospital it came from that would help.
My suggestion is this information would be inputted by a Customer Service Admin who is processing the new referral so that we are sure to have good callback numbers, emails, faxes, etc. and they could input the type of referral. This way the Liaisons are tracking activities and the office is tracking new referrals and you can hopefully have colorful graphs of the two trends (activities vs. referrals) that can be trended over time and build a better database that is helpful for projections and new Reps if you have turnover.
