When completing a new event, go back to that specific account page instead of to the calendar page.

It was like this before the update, so when I had multiple contacts in a single account that I need to add events for, it was much easier and faster. Now, it adds additional clicks to get right back to the same spot to add a new event for a new contact within the same account. My internet is slow at the office, so these extra clicks cost me lots of wasted time. Even if you don't have multiple events within an account to enter, you still have to click on accounts to start a new one whether you are on the account page like I'm recommending or on the calendar page like it currently does, so it would not add additional clicks for anyone.

    Hi Sarah!

Thanks for your feedback! I'm Alex Chesnutt, Product Manager for Marketscape CRM. The new calendar has a lot to get use to and changes in some long standing workflows around creating events from the account or contact pages. In an effort to reduce clicks on the calendar page, we have added the My Accounts/My Contact tab on the left side of the page. This feature allows you to drag and drop the account or contact directly into the calendar to create an event.

Using the My Account/My Contact reduces the clicks by allowing you to drag and drop your assigned accounts or contacts from the list directly onto the calendar to create an event. Additionally, it allows you to filter out Accounts and Contacts that don't have events scheduled in the next 30 days to identify if event series have falling off the calendar or ensure you're seeing your top accounts. I'd recommend trying it to see what you think! I'd love to hear how this compares to your past workflows or additional improvements we could make!

We have several user walkthroughs on the page as well and I'd recommend the "Creating Events" walkthrough to see the My Account/Contacts list in action! Image of the location of the walkthroughs and the My Accounts tab is attached!
