Model your CRM after a Car Dealerships CRM.

I've used many CRMs when I worked in the auto industry in sales. I've been using this CRM Since January of this year when I started with my company. I've got to say, that this is perhaps the worst CRM I've ever used. It's clunky, slow, unintuitive, and hard to use. First off, it makes no sense why notes are attached to the "Event Series" rather than the account itself. It would be helpful for Account Managers to be able to see every note ever made that is attached to a certain account. But it's unfortunately attached to the "Event Series" instead. Because of that, anytime you have to make an adjustment to the frequency of visits, changing days of visits, or even deleting an event series, ALL notes are lost forever. (Unless there is a way to recover it that I'm not aware of.)

To give you an example of why I am frustrated, I am having to add in some new accounts for a new territory that I am covering, and I need to adjust the days I visit certain accounts. My bonuses at work are contingent on all of my notes being completed and done. But when I make a change, it changes all previous visits I've made back to not completed and deletes the notes off of the event day. However it seems to keep them in the event series.

When you look at the Calendar and see all of the accounts listed out on the schedule we have created, it should open the account profile on the CRM where you can see that accounts information and every single note that has ever been made, by current and all past reps. This should also be something that can not be deleted once a note has been made.

Hopefully this makes sense and can spark some change. I use this CRM only because I am required to, to earn my bonuses. In my opinion, a pen and piece of paper is more efficient than this.
