Event Type Date Span to mimic Outlook

Event Type Date Span needs to go across each day of span chosen. For example - if you choose OOO Event Type and put a week timeframe in the Event, it only shows on the first day, it does not span the timeframe entered on the calendar. It needs to mimic Outlook.
