To prevent duplicate event entries, the Save button should be greyed out while the event is being processed. This will ensure users cannot click it multiple times, especially in areas with slower connectivity. Additionally, a confirmation message should be displayed upon successful saving, while a failure message should provide the reason for the failure and guidance on the next steps.
